The pictures presented below are of San Francisco from the beach to downtown, from the Art institute to Dolores Park and the Golden Gate Park. The pictures were taken from November 1996,  when I first arrived in the city, until not so long ago.

You will notice that I tend to like perspective viewpoints as well as timeless moments and different compositions. I often use 125, 200, 400 or 800 ISO Ilford film and always carry a Nikon FM 2 and/or a Nikon F3. They are fairly light cameras, ideal for pointing and shooting.

In this section, you have pictures of Paris France. It really is a magical city, the city of light. Once again, I used a Nikon FM2 for it is easy to carry while traveling.

You can see different parts of Paris like Le Jardin des Tuileries or Metro Barbes at night (near where I was born). The blurry Eiffel tower was actually illuminated in blue to announce that France was taking the governance of the European Union. There is also a stroll in the back streets of Montmartre at night, the Jardin du Palais Royal, the Statue of Liberty and the clock at the Musée d'Orsay.

The two last images are a play with natural light. The archway is situated in Chantilly, where Louis XIV had his stables. At this moment of the day, the light was making stripes with the arches  and the stripes from those where aligned to the pedestrian crossing, making it look perpetual. And the last picture was taken somewhere in Charente near Cognac in France. The sun was shinning on a wooden fence. The shadows of the wooden fence on the floor made it look like some kind of chess board.

New Orleans is really one unrivaled city. There is no other place compare to Nawlins although it reminds me a lot of the French Caribbean . There is excellent music at every street corner, the food is amazingly good and inexpensive. I came to Nola with just my Canon G9 Powershot digital camera but I felt limited. Thankfully, I found someone over there whom was selling her Nikon F3 in perfect condition with four different lenses at a very good price. Next step was to find negative film in New Orleans which was not an easy task. I finally found a 400 ISO Kodak film  on my last day here and started to shoot mostly in the french quarter. It is a very inspirational site for photographers.

As you've already seen on the majority of my photos, light and shapes are predominant in my work. This little section is dedicated to composition in the art of photography.

Here, we have color film photography. Mostly taken with a Nikon FM2 and also a Canon AE1, my very first camera. The last seven were taken with my first digital camera a Canon G9 Powershot.

Once again, you can see shapes, compositions and play with natural light. I tried to capture music through my images, also some timelessness. The kitten was literally posing for me in San Miguel De Allende in the state of Guanajuato in Mexico. I couldn't find the right exposure and aperture, and I thought the cat would just leave. But instead, he just stood there, waiting for me to finish my shot.

Next to it is, a picture of Pezenas, a small town in the south of France.

Then, we are downtown Los Angeles with it's beautiful modern architecture, followed by the Getty Museum.

The music here is a melting pot of all different genres as the world is also a mix of different people. First song by the late DJ Cheb i Sabbah who lived in San Francisco.
